This route is a good alternative to: Buskerudveien and Rosenkrantzgata.

Route description

A very attractive and easy-to-ride route close to the Drammenelva river. Large green areas, piers, sculptures, marinas, picnic areas and playgrounds along the route. Very family-friendly.

For those who want to cycle further…

This route can easily be combined with the Green Cycle Route on the south side of the river to get closer to Drammen city centre. Alternatively, you can follow Øvre Storgate eastwards for about 500 metres to join the new cycle path along the river towards the city centre.
