This route gives you twice as many vertical metres from Lørenskog station to Ahus than the fast route. During rush hour, this route also has some traffic, but a low speed limit and mostly pavements or pedestrian and cycle paths all the way. Pavements are fine on slopes if you’re travelling slowly, but remember to slow down to walking speed when meeting pedestrians. That’s why the road surface is often the best option downhill.
