Route description
When you get down to the hiking trail along Drammenselva, this is one of the most child-friendly cycle routes you can take in Drammen; car-free, safe and without any uphill sections. Fjordparken in Drammen is an area undergoing major changes, the park is like a pearl on the outside of the major construction work for the new Drammen Hospital. There are many swimming areas and picnic spots, with a view far beyond the Drammen Fjord.
As of October 2019, it is possible to cycle eastwards to Terminalen and Strandbrua/Strandveien using construction roads without cycling infrastructure. In the long term, cycling conditions here will be improved.
