Location: Glemmengata, two hundred metres west of Glemmen School in Fredrikstad.
End: Greåkerveien, just east of Visterflo.
Challenges: Gravel road of somewhat varying quality, gentle incline for the first quarter of the trip.
Car traffic: The tour follows lightly trafficked roads at the very beginning and end of the tour.
Type of bicycle that can be used: Preferably mountain bike or hybrid bike.
Special considerations: May be many hikers on weekends.

This route is a good alternative to: Rolvsøyveien.
Description.
Cycling this route between Fredrikstad and Greåker is a completely different experience to travelling along Rolvsøyveien. The forest route via Bjørndalen and Borredammen has a main section that is free of cars, and the route is characterised by paths along several lakes and ponds. Several picnic areas along the route. The road climbs fifty metres up to Borredammen, but nowhere is the gradient steeper than four percent.
