Description.
Mosvannet is located in the centre of Stavanger and the route around it is used by many. It’s a very easy ride, almost completely flat and completely free of car traffic. The surroundings are characterised by nature with varied forests, wetlands, grasslands and birdlife. There are picnic areas in several places and an art museum and café on the west side of the lake. Along the cycle path on the north side of the lake there is a mechanics station with some tools and a bicycle pump.

From Mosvannet it’s a short distance to the Green Cycle Route towards Tungenes Lighthouse and the loop via Ullandshaug and Hafrfsjorden.
