Route description

The Ljanselva river is one of the lesser-known rivers in Oslo, but like the Akerselva river, it has a nice walking route next to it. The surroundings are partly dense forest, but also some sports facilities and short stretches in residential neighbourhoods. The trail passes the enormous bridge foundations of the old railway viaduct over Ljanselva. There are some uphill stretches, so the trail is not suitable for the very young.

For those who want to continue cycling…

From Hauketo you can continue on a nice separate cycle path up to Klemetsrud (approx. three kilometres), where a new green cycle route starts.
