Route description
Connects Røa and Skøyen/Sjølyst. The cycling takes place almost exclusively on small roads and hiking trails. Here you’ll find nature and rivers, meadows and small forests. It’s not the fastest route between these two major hubs in Oslo, but it’s certainly the most pleasant. It’s not necessarily high speed that’s important, here it’s important to pay attention to pedestrians. But what a secret!
For those who want to cycle further…
The route can be extended from Skøyen to our Green Cycle Routes Frognerparken and Frognerbekken or Runde on Bygdøy via Bygdøy sjøbad, Paradisbukta and Huk.
From Røa it can be extended to Bogstad – Hovseter – Mærradalen – Radiumhospitalet.
