Start: Cycle path at the footbridge over the E18 at Fiskevollbukta.
End: Ljansbrukveien on the south side of Hvervenbukta.

Challenges: Somewhat uneven gravel road in places.

Special considerations: There may be many walkers on the road, and many children at Hvervenbukta on fine summer days.

Alternative to

This route is a good alternative to: Ljansbrukveien.

The route can be a green alternative for those cycling from Fiskevollbukta in the direction of Ingeierstrand/Svartskog. It’s just under a kilometre on Ljansbrukveien before you turn onto the less busy Ingierstrandveien.

Route description

Very pleasant and easy-to-ride gravel road around Ljanskollen in Søndre Nordstrand district. Several picnic benches along the route, which also runs right past Hvervenbukta, one of the city’s most popular swimming spots. Café, kiosk and toilets at Hvervenbukta.

The Ljanskollen tour can easily be extended by linking it with the tour along the Ljanselva river to Hauketo.
