The journey continues north-west by bike over the Helgeland Bridge to the mainland. This is the longest continuous stage by bike (36.5 km) during the five days up here.
From Sandnessjøen, we follow Route 17 to Einmoen, where it takes a small back road up the hill and down to Leland and on to Levang Fergekai. Much of the tour follows the main road, but where there are alternatives they are used.
