Old road towards Misvær

This cycle tour starts at the car park at the junction of the road towards Støvsetbrua and Skjerstad, from here you cross the bridge and head towards Åkervik. First you cycle past some buildings before you reach the disused old road towards Misvær. Here you get great scenery on both sides, with the sea on one side and forest and steep mountains on the other. This area has been exposed to rock falls over the years, so as with all other hikes, you are travelling at your own risk. You’ll have to be prepared for some narrow paths on a couple of occasions. Finally, the hike ends at a sandy beach and some small houses.
