Jeløya outside Moss offers an interesting and varied round trip by bike. From the hilly and wooded northern part to the open and flat southern part, characterised by large farms and beautiful avenues. The most demanding climb is from Rambergbukta up past Rambergåsen, where you climb just over a hundred metres in altitude. Stop along the way and enjoy the view of the Oslofjord!

One of the things that makes cycling attractive is that several stretches run right down by the sea. For many people, a stop at Galleri F15 at Alby Farm in the south will be one of the highlights. Here you’ll find exhibitions, refreshments, a large garden and pleasant hiking trails. The first three kilometres of this route can be quite busy, so it is not suitable for young children.

The cycling on the hiking trail around Reiertangen towards the end is very idyllic, but remember that this is also used by many hikers, so keep your speed under control!

The tour is suitable for adults and young people aged 12 – 13.

Touring tips
