Description.

The route from Lurastø is an easy cycling tour that runs partly right down by the sea, partly through forests, green areas and parks. It is a peaceful and fairly safe alternative to Gamleveien, which lies west of the railway line. There are constant changes in the surroundings. For children, one of the highlights might be cycling through the short, somewhat narrow tunnel under the railway line, after just over a kilometre of cycling. For the nature experience, this route is laid out via slightly narrower hiking trails in Forusskogen and down past Forus båtforening. This is an open area with several pleasant places to rest or play.
